Uniform Policy

The encouragement of good grooming is a part of St. Agnes School’s educational endeavor and parents are asked to cooperate in seeing to it that their child(ren) is (are) in complete and approved uniform daily.

If a student is not in compliance with the uniform policy, parents may be called and required to come and pick up their child. Repeated non-compliance with this policy (3 per quarter) will result in the student receiving a morning detention. Every offense after the three in each quarter will result in a detention.

Final decisions regarding hygiene and appropriate dress will be left to the discretion of the faculty or the principal. Any component of the uniform may be worn throughout the year.

Uniforms are to be worn from the first day of school in August until the final day of classes in June, unless parents are otherwise notified.

A note of explanation should accompany any child who comes to school out of uniform.

The child’s name should be placed inside all parts of the uniform.
